Dear Sir or Madam,

Due to numerous inquiries regarding the details of the recordings, we present some information:

1. Individual pieces may be recorded separately (similarly to parts of a Sonata), however, it is not allowed to edit or correct the soundtrack inside the piece.

2. Recorded program should be combined into one file and then posted on YouTube under one link. In the case of groups III and IV, each stage should be sent under a separate link (group III two links, group IV three links).

3. The program should be performed from memory and the image should contain the entire figure of the performer and the hands on the keyboard.

Best regards and we look forward to receiving your applications!

April 29, 2021

Dear Sir or Madam,

Due to the uncertain pandemic situation, we decided that this year's edition of the "Chopin at Wawel" International Piano Competition will be held online, ie on the basis of videos posted on YouTube, containing the program required by the regulations.

We made this difficult decision out of concern for the safety of the participants, jurors and the audience listening to the competition auditions.

Due to the above, we have postponed the deadline for submissions to June 10, 2021 - it applies to submitting recordings of the 1st and 2nd age groups as well as the 1st stage of the 3rd and 4th age groups.

Participants of the 3rd and 4th age groups, qualified for the 2nd stage, will be asked to send the recording of the 2nd stage by June 23, 2021

Participants of the 4th age group, qualified for the 3rd stage, will be asked to send the recording of the 3rd stage by July 8, 2021

We hope that the next edition of the Competition in 2023 will be held in a traditional, stationary form!

Best regards and we look forward to your applications!
